Peer Support is a unique and interactive program that provides recovery supports to individuals who identify having challenges with a severe mental health challenge. Supports are provided by individuals who have self-identified as being in recovery from their own mental health challenges and have completed the intensive Certified Peer Specialist Training. Our Peer Support Specialists will help individuals develop the skills necessary to lead a meaningful life at home and in the community and guide you down the path of recovery.
Peer Support is a self-directed, evidence-based, recovery oriented system of providing mutual aid and support in reaching self-identified goals towards recovery and wellness. Our Peer Support Specialists can support individuals in their recovery in areas including but not limited to education, community involvement, crisis management, career goals and obstacles, treatment processes and more.
