Penn Psychiatric Center is looking for TSS (Therapeutic Staff Support) and BSC/MT (Behavior Specialist Consultant/ Mobile Therapist) candidates to work in our BHRS (Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services) program. PPC services both Chester and Montgomery counties. Must be able to commit to 10+ hours/week).
Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS)
Provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents with emotional disturbances. Aid clients in eliminating inappropriate behaviors, provide emotional support, and aid in the transference of such skills to those responsible for clients. The TSS, in following a treatment plan with behavioral goals, will encourage socially appropriate behaviors, responsibility, and independence. Responsible for recording data and monitoring progress.
Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field, such as Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Education, Criminal Justice or a similar human service field OR a Bachelor’s Degree in any field PLUS one year of paid related work experience with children OR 60 college credits/Associate’s degree PLUS three years paid related work experience with children.
Behavior Specialist Consultant / Mobile Therapist
Penn Psychiatric Center is looking for BSC/MT candidates for a growing BHRS program. Full-time and part-time positions available (must be able to commit to 10+ hours a week). PPC services both Chester and Montgomery counties.
Responsible for individual, group, couples, and family therapy in the home, school, and community settings. Assist children and adolescents with mental health issues in developing and implementing their recovery goals. Provide documentation of recovery goals, interventions, and strength-based assessments in treatment plans and progress notes, including client’s response to treatment interventions, barriers, and progress. Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Functional Behavioral Assessments a plus. Some supervisory duties of bachelor’s level clinicians.
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Criminal Justice, or Human Services and license (BSL, LSW, LCSW) preferred.
